Matt "King" Tuttle was the featured soloist and lead alto for two years in the nationally acclaimed Clovis West Marching Band and Jazz ensembles in the early 90's. He was the lead alto saxophonist and member of combos during the mid-90's for Fresno City College.  He then graduated from Berkeley with an undergraduate degree and was lead alto for their band for two years and a member of many Bay Area Jazz groups and then graduated with a doctorate degree from UC Davis and was active in many swing bands in Sacramento.  He then performed internationally with Carnival, and Holland America Cruise lines as a multi-reed specialist for their jazz band and show bands for many years. Matt is currently the bari player in the Fresno City college band, and multi-reed specialist in their other groups and frequent jazz jam participant.  He teaches flute, clarinet and all saxophones privately in the Fresno Valley and leads the Matt "King" Tuttle and the Pharohs jazz quartet.
