Chinatown Revitalization Inc is proud to announce the 2007 Chinatown Jazz Festival Friday and Saturday September 7th and 8th in Fresno's historic Chinatown. This year's festival theme is "A Journey Through the Evolution of Jazz", and features an expanded two day lineup with a special Friday night show at Full Circle Brewing Co, in addition to the all day events on Saturday September 8th on the grounds of Fire Station No. 3. This year's artist lineup ranges from American roots and blues, to gospel, dixieland, brass bands, and modern vocal, instrumental and latin jazz. Also new this year, an all star jam session will top off this year's Saturday night concert! Artists include Glen Delpit & the Subterraneans and Bobby Joe Neely (Friday Night) and Kevin Hill's Jazz Extravaganza, Patrick Contreras, the Javon Davis Trio, Debbi Ruud, the Blue Street Jazz Band, The Pleasant Travelers, and student jazz ensembles. JazzFresno is a proud sponsor of this event.

Friday September 28th - Arte Americas Nights in the Plaza
Celebrate the end of the 2007 Nights in the Plaza season and the 20th anniversary of Arte Americas with the Rhumba 32 Latin Jazz Orchrestra. Led by trumpeter and educator Steve Alcala, the group features some of Central California's top latin jazz musicians, plus a special guest, pianist Oscar Hernandez, leader of the GRAMMY award winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra. Dance the night away to an evening of mambo and latin jazz with this special big band event.
Doors Open - 7:30pm, Concert begins - 8:00pm
