Joe Moore is Station Manager of 90.7 KFSR radio at California State University Fresno. He graduated from Fresno State with a degree in history in 2000. He has been a jazz host on the station since 1998 and supervises the station’s popular jazz programming. While in school, he studied music for 13 years, playing clarinet and saxophone and was a member of the Fresno State Wind Ensemble, as well as other groups. He also publishes the “JazzPortraits” weblog on the internet, and has written liner notes for several jazz artists, including notes for a new CD and DVD by Chicago based guitarist Bobby Broom’s Deep Blue Organ Trio (Delmark Records 2006). |
