Lori Hamada currently serves as the Mathematics Coordinator for the Fresno County Office of Education. She is the director of the San Joaquin Valley Mathematics Project and a National Consultant for the College Board. She is the creator and the Executive Producer of Math on Call, Fresno County Office of Education’s mathematics homework hotline for students which incorporates a live daily television broadcast. Lori is a respected leader in the math education community. She and her husband, jazz drummer Brian Hamada, own Counterpoint-Music.com, an online music retailer specializing in jazz, and in the 1990’s operated Counterpoint as a café/music store in north Fresno, specializing in jazz and classical music. She was named FCOE “Administrator of the Year” in 2003. |
